I'll add yes you can have up to 5 attacks, but with very low accuracy, I've found 3 -4 attacks with higher accuracy and more defenses much more efficient for your stamina, each attack cost stamina, so missing 5 times because low accuracy and burning that much stamina is bad. Another thing I'll note which confused me a bit you do not repair gear till it actually breaks, the Durability modifier listed on gear has nothing to do with repairs, it has to do with % chance to lose a level if upgrade when attempting to upgrade. But will see if this gets better as u advance a bit more thru the weekend. Interesting game so far, if I have any complaint at this early stage, it's a lack of loot. It also very easy to adjust accuracy and where you want defenses on the 2nd round while the first round is executing. Looks like you can unlock a 3rd and 4th preset as you level. Ģnd preset is set with 4 attacks with equal accuracy and at this time some melee and ranges def, there is also magical def (have not needed that yet) I put extra accuracy on the debuff and dot for better chance to get those off first round. I have set up the first with 1 attacks and 1 debuff and 1 Dot. Pretty user friendly system, and easy to pick up, you start with 2 presets available, that you can use to set attacks and defense. Have to look more into the idea of what the sets are all about, perhaps that would change my mind. Looked interesting, but probably wouldn't be able to enjoy it with the 12 second timer, but it makes sense why it might be necessary to keep the gameplay moving. There are far too many options to consider for 12 seconds.Ĭreate sets in advance, then use the timer to adjust them where necesarry when facing certain enemies. The timer adds urgency to turn-based, which in my opinion negates the allure of turn-based to begin with, which is the chess-like aspect. The turn-based combat is original, but not sure if it will grow on me yet. Didn't try it until yesterday and had zero issues, so they fixed whatever it was.
